Patsy approaches deep evaluation processes by bringing greater awareness and clarity to each leader’s constellation of assets and challenges and then assessing how they each play out in their roles, work relationships, career aspirations, and their organizations’ values and goals. She combines her expertise in human behavior, evaluation, culture building, and coaching to guide her clients to move beyond barriers that might be impeding their work. Patsy’s clear, frank, and compassionate feedback begins a conversation about what is possible when ineffective patterns are addressed and key strengths are better leveraged. She works with clients to increase emotional intelligence, develop greater accountability, productively navigate conflict, and get the most from their people and teams.
Patsy has extensive experience working closely and often longitudinally with chief executives and their boards. Her expertise in CEO and Board evaluation brings focus, clarity, transparency, and objectivity to complex assessment processes. Her goal for this work is to transform what is often an amorphous yearly task into an opportunity to not only strengthen leaders but also examine the environments within which they work. These processes often create vital and clarifying conversations between a chief executive and their board and can shine a light on difficulties created by a lack of role clarity between the two. Patsy has designed and conducted robust succession assessment processes that are designed to be paired with executive coaching to enhance succession candidate’s capacity and readiness to ascend to the highest levels of their organizations.
Patsy earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Montana-Missoula, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Washington. She maintains Hogan Assessment certifications for Hogan HPI, HDS, MVPI, Judgement, and Hogan 360.
