Luisa’s  experience, insight, and foresight have enabled her to guide social entrepreneurs, CEOs, and leaders of governments and international development agencies (NGOs) in achieving the potential in themselves and their organizations. She thinks and works globally, across cultures, borders, and industries—recognizing that every transformative result is driven by great minds, passionate engagement, and empowered people.

As Managing Director of Waldron's Effective Organizations practice, Luisa leads strategies, account management, and client acquisition for the practice and oversees Waldron’s network of Executive Coaches and organizational experts. To her teams and clients, she brings more than 20 years’ experience in large-scale systems change, specializing in leadership, culture and change.

As a results-driven professional, Luisa contributes invaluable cross-cultural and cross-industry expertise to Waldron’s practice, client base, and consulting capability. Most recently, Luisa provided strategy and leadership development, organizational change, and transformation consulting as Managing Partner & Impact Strategist for Elixir. Earlier in her career, as Country Director for Lao PDR at Cord (an NGO), Luisa worked across sectors to help establish multiple collective impact interventions affecting national education initiatives, the development of the country’s first corporate social responsibility consortium and civil society collaborative

Luisa’s in-house leadership roles and external consultancies in the social sector have benefited performance and leadership effectiveness in organizations such as UNICEF, Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, CARE, and Oxfam. In the public sector, she worked with agencies in Washington State and government agencies throughout SE Asia. Her work also resulted in multiple key partnerships in the private sector with Microsoft, Nike, Dell, Compaq, Target, The Gap and others.

Luisa holds a Masters in Positive Organizational Development from Case Western University, a Bachelors of Arts in History from UCLA,  and is certified in Appreciative Inquiry and Coaching for Emotional Intelligence.
